AccessCare hosts free information session

AccessCare team member presents in front of a large crowd.

This week, AccessCare hosted two free information sessions for City of Kingston residents. The purpose of these sessions was to provide older people and their loved ones with guidance on how to register for in-home support services with My Aged Care and access the care they need to remain living independently at home for longer.

We held one in the morning and one in the evening, in the hope that there would be a session time for everybody. Each session was hosted by our highly experienced team leader of our access, HACC PYP and RAS services, who brought with her years of knowledge from navigating the My Aged Care portal.

Thank you to everyone who came along, asked questions and engaged with our team members. We understand getting started in the aged care sector can be daunting and confusing, and it is our great pleasure to be able to assist you every step of the way.

If you couldn’t make it but have some burning questions about how to access in-home care services, please send us an email at info@accesscare.org.au. We also encourage you to keep an eye on our Facebook page, as we will post dates of our next information sessions there.
