Introducing Hayylo, AccessCare’s new app

An older man sits at his kitchen table with a cup of coffee, smiling as he uses an app on his smartphone.

Following an initial trial period with a small number of clients, AccessCare has officially launched its new app, called Hayylo.

This app is designed to enhance our customer experience by giving our clients and their carers the ability to view their care schedule and manage their service bookings on their phone.

Through the app, clients can access their roster of scheduled services, request service changes, receive important updates from AccessCare and retrieve documents sent by our team.

Three example images of the app on a smart phone are shown side by side, including the home screen, the client schedule and a pop-up on the lock screen. Additionally, clients will be able to communicate with our customer service team via SMS, and we will be able to notify clients of any last minute changes to their service in the same way.

Clients without a mobile phone can also benefit from Hayylo, as they can call a dedicated phone line from their home phone to automatically hear details of their next scheduled services.

The app will also benefit AccessCare’s customer service and rostering teams. About 60% of enquiries received by these teams are related to clients checking their appointment times or requesting a change to their bookings. With simple queries like this actionable through the app, our switchboard will largely be freed up for more complex client issues.

Our app is already being used by more than 200 AccessCare clients, with the initial feedback overwhelmingly positive. One client noted that, “I'm hard of hearing and this saves me having to ring all the time,” with another claiming, “I love that I can just send a text message.”

Many of our clients’ carers have also seen the benefits of the app, with one client’s daughter telling us, “Dad’s memory is not as good as what it used to be, so thank you for offering this service; I live in Queensland, and I can remind him now of his upcoming services.”
