Use our app to check your service schedule

To make it easier for clients and their carers to keep track of their service schedule, AccessCare has a free and easy-to-use app.

Through this app, you can quickly check your upcoming appointments and services, communicate with our customer service team and even request service changes.

Designed to help you better manage your services and keep in control of your own healthcare, our app offers another way for you to connect with your support workers and the AccessCare team.

Please note: currently, the AccessCare app is only available to clients who receive their funding under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme. If you have a Home Care Package, you won’t be able to use our app for the time being. 

How to install AccessCare’s app 

This app is compatible with your smartphone and your tablet.

To download our free app, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone) on your smartphone or tablet and search for “AccessCare”. Alternatively, download the app from the Google Play Store here or download it from the App Store here.
  2. Click the “Install” or “Get” button
  3. The app will download onto your phone or tablet and you will be able to access it from your home screen

The next step is to log into the app and set up your account. Please follow the instructions below, and if you run into any difficulties, contact our team on 1300 819 200.

  1. Open the app and click “Get started”
  2. Enter your mobile telephone (be sure to use the same number you registered with AccessCare)
  3. Once you enter your mobile number, you will be sent a PIN via SMS to your mobile phone. Please allow a few minutes for the PIN to be sent.
  4. After entering the PIN into the app, you will be asked to enter the email address you registered with AccessCare. If you do not have an email address, click “Skip”
  5. Confirm your name and address are correct and click “Confirm”. If you are asked permission for the app to access your contacts and send you notification, click “Allow”, as this will ensure the app runs smoothly

And that’s it! You are now able to use the AccessCare app! 

Using the AccessCare app

View and manage your services

The home screen shows your schedule. You can see your care appointments, with the date, time and who will be coming.

You can request changes to your scheduled appointments by simply clicking on the appointment and submitting your request.

Please note: AccessCare require 24 hours’ notice for processing changes to your schedule.

View and edit your profile information

Your profile is visible to AccessCare and provides some basic information about you, including your name and contact information. Follow the instructions below to view and edit your profile:

  1. Select the menu located in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Click “My Profile”
  3. Click “Edit About Me”
  4. Enter a description to add information about you
  5. Click “Confirm”

Invite family and carers to view your schedule

One of the great things about the AccessCare app is that you can allow your close friends and family to view your schedule and assist you with managing your AccessCare appointments.

To invite people to view your AccessCare profile, follow the below instructions:

  1. Select the menu located in the top left corner of the screen
  2. Click “Invite People”
  3. Click the plus symbol located in the top right corner of the screen
  4. Enter the name and mobile phone number of the person you would like to invite
  5. Click “Invite”

That person will now receive an invitation to their mobile phone to download the AccessCare app and view your care schedule. You will see their status listed as “Active” when they are logged into the app.

You can also easily invite contacts from your phone by clicking “Search Your Contacts” and selecting the person from your phone’s existing contact list.

Make a request

Click on the “Request Something” option in the menu to send the AccessCare team a request. The current options include:

  • Change a service
  • Cancel a service
  • General enquiry
  • Complaint
  • Feedback
  • Request a Call

Once the request has been completed by our team, you will receive a notification via the app.

Stay connected with the app’s Social Feed

AccessCare posts company-wide messages into the “Feed” to let you know about important information, such as our operating hours on public holidays, and to tell you about exciting opportunities, such as free events we are hosting.
