From November 1 2025, Home Care Packages were replaced by the Australian Government's Support at Home program. If you are on a Home Care Package, you will automatically switch to the new Support at Home program and your existing services will continue as usual.
Please get in touch with us to understand what these changes mean for you.

Support at Home is a government-funded program that assists people with more complex care needs.
Your Support at Home plan can provide services to help you stay independent in your home for longer. The services fall under three main categories:
- Clinical care (such as nursing care and health-related services)
- Independence supports (such as showering, transport and home maintenance)
- Everyday Living services (such as cleaning, laundry, gardening and meals)
How do I know what services I can access?
You will be allocated to one of eight classification levels when you're approved for Support at Home funding through My Aged Care.
We will work with you to talk about the services you need that fit within your quarterly budget and develop your plan.
Along with clinical care, independence support and everyday living, you can also access the following pathways that provide targeted funding:
- Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) Scheme (mobility aids, home modifications)
- Restorative Care Pathway (short-term, intensive support)
- End-of-Life Pathway (support for people in their final months)
Contact us to learn about all of the services we provide.
How much does Support at Home cost?
Support at Home government funding offers a quarterly budget towards your in-home care (allocated after you have been assessed and approved). However, you may need to contribute an out-of-pocket amount towards the cost of the services you receive.
When you choose AccessCare as your service provider, we will send you a monthly statement so you can track your funding.
